EASY Nutella Brownies

I am not the biggest fan of Nutella, in fact, I never eat it, but I have a huge Costco size jar in the pantry about to expire.

Late night baker is thinking "what can I use that stupid monster size jar of Nutella for?".

Brownies.

I searched and I found.

Recipes w/ 3 ingredients.
Perfect for late night bakers like me. I could have a little one before bed w/ a glass of milk.

I added in a pinch of baking soda and some chopped hazelnuts, cause I couldn't just leave it alone w/ the 3 ingredients.

If you have no cake mix in the house (and I never do), and are a midnight baker like me.........then bake these delectable treats.

They were actually fabulous.

Nutella Brownies:

1 1/4 cups of Nutella (chocolate hazelnut spread, in case you live on Mars)
2 eggs
1/2 cup flour
1/4 tsp baking soda (if you want cakey brownies)
1/4 cup of chopped hazelnuts

Mix everything together and spread out in a greased or paper lined 8" x 8" brownie pan (I used an 8" tart pan w/ removable bottom).

Bake at 350F for 25-30 minutes.

Let rest in the pan 5 minutes before cutting w/ a knife.
(brownie cutting trick: cut with a plastic serrated knife).

Enjoy!

Hey Stacey, good timing for this recipe as it's American Chocolate week ( third week in March). How cool is that?! I shall try it out!! Thanks for sharing.

I tried the recipe. Easy, quick, not many ingredients, and quickly gobbled up. The perfect amount too. I do not bake much because it is just me and most recipes make far too much. Mine turned out a little dry though. I think I might try baking them for less than the 25 minutes next time.

This is a dangerous recipe - I know, I've made it in past (and eaten most of it myself). I like how you made it in a round pan, instead of the usual square pan brownies are made in. ;)
