Snacks is 12

12 years of blogging? Yup. It's true.

A pioneer.

2008 was a good year for food blogs, and a bad year for the economy.

2019 a good year for the economy, bad year for food blogs.

Is anyone reading this blog anymore? Not really sure, since my new readers are all on instagram.

I know a few of you die hards still remain, and I am thankful.

I will continue to post my weekly recipe, because I hate change, and if I stop blogging, I will feel like I am missing something (plus, it's a good way for me to look up my recipes that I forget about).

A dozen years, but who is counting?

Time for botox!

xo

I actually enjoy reading so here is where you will find me. I don't bother with social media. I find it to be rather toxic, so I choose to not participate.

I would never have known about pickles on a grilled cheese sandwich without this blog!

I still read blogs. I love Instagram too, but I prefer recipes on blogs. Easy to save and bigger print!

Congratulations Stacey! Keep making those pita chips! Ha.

Please don't stop. I probably use your recipes more than any other blog I read. You've also taught me to be a little more relaxed in my cooking and not always be running to the grocery store for a particular ingredient. I enjoy following your annual trips to France and your other adventures with Henry. As long as you keep writing, I will keep reading.

Here's to 12 years more, cheers!

Congratulations! I came to you about half way through, six years ago. Via the blog of course. Still rely on it for what have become favorite family recipes. Read Instagram too and enjoy the immediacy of it. Win - win for me! Thank you, thank you, and again, congratulations!

Stacey, Please don't stop blogging! I've been reading and thoroughly enjoying your recipes, observations and humorous commentary for YEARS and am not an Instagram user. You've opened my eyes and taste buds to new and exciting foods and interesting ideas I could not have found elsewhere. You're the best and we love you.

I love your blog. I am from NJ, but live in NC now. Love your recipes with all the good produce that
NJ produces in the summer. I just made the Italian Cherry cake with the Marcaspone Cheese and it
is a winner. I think it is going to be one of very favorites.

Well said. We started at the same time and you were the FIRST food blogger who actually responded to my comment-- and you made me laugh. Food blogging has changed a lot, hasn't it? People don't leave comments the way that they used to. If they can't click on a "like" they just leave. Sad. Like you, my food blog is my creative outlet. I've met some nice people this way, and I have to remind myself not to focus on "numbers" or "likes". As long as we're having fun, let's keep on!
