Tarragon Mustard Chicken Legs
Here is an easy one pan dinner that is sure to please.
Tarragon Mustard Chicken Legs: (so good)
1/2 cup of Dijon mustard (I use tarragon mustard)
1/2 cup grainy mustard
1/2 cup white wine (or chicken stock)
3 large shallots, minced (you can use red onion)
1/4 cup olive oil
kosher salt & pepper
dried tarragon (if not using tarragon flavored mustard)
6-8 chicken legs (thigh and drumsticks)
Mix all these ingredients together in a measuring cup and pour sauce over chicken legs (sauce is plenty for 8 legs) on a baking sheet.
I added some cauliflower florets around the chicken (DO IT), so I could cook everything in one pan. Little new potatoes would also be a good idea.
Bake at 375F for 1 hour (less time if using only drumsticks).
The sauce becomes dark and delicious and this is the truly worthy of a dinner party. It's so good, and that cauliflower with the mustardy sauce.....yum.
