Recipe for a GREAT Blueberry Smoothie & NO BANANAS!

I am in love with making smoothies....who knew I would love them so much?

This is a protein packed breakfast, and I have been eating/slurping them everyday.

No, I do not add a banana, because bananas are my kryptonite, my enemy, I hate them.

Keep them away from me.

These smoothies are nice and thick and don't need that gross banana.

I add a little coconut because I love the combination of coconut and blueberries.

Here is the recipe. Makes 2 delicious smoothies.

Blueberry Coconut Smoothies:

1 cup of non-fat plain Greek yogurt (I use FAGE)
1 tbsp honey
1 cup of fresh blueberries
1 cup of 2% milk
1/4 cup of sweetened flaked coconut

Throw everything in a blender and whiz until nice and thick.

Pour into 2 glasses and garnish w/ fresh mint and pansies (if you have them in the garden!).

I too don't eat bananas (they don't agree with me and I don't like the texture of it!) Yum! We actually picked strawberries yesterday so I'm going to make this for myself with strawberries since we have them - I hope the smoothie is just as tasty as the one you made with blueberries, which I'll try soon!
