I see London, I see France, I see Stacey's.................

I knew I would get your attention.

It's September, you know what that means!

Eating and drinking in Paris! woo hoo!

I am not sure how I will post with the Ipad, but will try and do my best (staying up till 3 a.m. Paris time downloading photos).

We will have a mid-week trip to Dijon to lick mustard spoons, then on to Beaune, Burgundy to try some Pinot Noir and Montrachet!

Same apartment as last year, same time, same channel.

See you during the week.
Stay tuned!

(PS underpants. I had to say it).

Eiffel Tower photo taken with my iPhone from the cab ride from the airport.

Cover the waterfront for us, Ms. Snacks. And enjoy every second/sip/bite!

I absolutely love Paris and all the lovely towns in France, too! However, it is difficult for me to understand why one would revisit the same place each year. The world is so wide and wonderful and there is so little time to see as much as we can! But, as my mil always said, that is why there is vanilla and chocolate!

Ooooh - j'taime Paris! One of my favorite cities in the world - enjoy it Stacey. Looking forward to hearing about your eating (and drinking) adventures. Let us know if you have any intriguing meals. (I'm so jealous).

Hey people - leave nice comments, will ya'? I love to travel the world, but visiting the same place gives you an opportunity to visit the out of the way side streets, to get to know the shops, the people, the food - hence, to really know it well. And we're talking about PARIS here, not some podunk town. If you think one visit to Paris in a lifetime is enough, you haven't really seen Paris. I can't wait to read what you're up to this year, Stacey and Hen.

Bon jour, Stacey! Sorry if my comment was misinterpreted. I LOVE your blog and read it every morning with my café au lait. I just meant that people are all different and have their own ideas of what is appealing. No one is right or wrong -- just different like chocolate and vanilla! Have a super time and I am looking forward to reading about your adventures!

I love your blog but this time of year is by far my most favourite time to read. It has helped me in so many ways. I can't wait until one day my husband and our kids (we'll have to bring them....) can experience this amazing city.

and I! I forgot to add myself! I want to go on the trip with my husband and our 3 boys too!
I look forward to all of your Paris posts Stacey, I'll never forget that underground dinner you had, what an experience! Enjoy every second and savor every bite!

Getting to know a city, its culture, the ins and outs, is quite special! ...it starts to feel like home. I too, visit Paris often and choose another area in France to explore. How fortunate we are!

I would LOVE to see Paris! But since it's not happening right now, I'll see some of it through your eyes. Have a wonderful trip.

I found your blog through Ciao Chow Linda and it is one of the few that I tap into everyday. Why?....precisely because you are NOT vanilla! I just love your witty, sassy outlook on things and your individualized style. I completely understand how Paris could be revisited annually ..it has the same quality of sunsets, sunrises, the sky above...the same but always different. One can never tire of enjoying them!
Your special personality shines through....enjoy your beloved Paris and know that the time and effort you put into sharing your take on things in your blog is appreciated!
You go every year and each September I eagerly look forward to your posts about your fun in France.

Bon voyage,
Sam
so happy for both of you! I love that you make this trip every year!

Hi Irene

We rent from the same couple for the last 7 years. They only rent to friends since they are in their 70s and are not here most of the time.
I do know of some good websites for Paris rentals though.
