Favorite Recipes of 2012
Here's a recap of my favorite recipes posted on S.S. in 2012.
I have so many, it was hard to choose.
I love most of the quinoa recipes I posted in 2012, but this one from the summer is my fave.
Quinoa w/ Cherries & Pistachios
Roasted Pasta Primavera, made with any vegetables you have, the perfect winter adaptation of this dish. Roasting the veggies brings out their sweetness.
When my Militant Community Garden lets me back in, I will be planting all these gorgeous varieties of tomatoes again. This was the best use of my heirlooms.
Heirloom Tomato Tart swiped with my homemade Onion Jam
If you can finally figure out the best way to flip these annoying tortillas without a problem, please let me know. This was so good with the homemade aioli.
Spanish Tortilla w/ Roasted Peppers & Peas
This Blueberry Lemon Streusel Cake was truly memorable.
My favorite chicken dish of the year is definitely Ottolenghi's Arak Chicken w/ Roasted Clementines. Yum.
and my #1 favorite recipe of the year, is Puff the Magic Onion Tart. I think I will make another one for tonight!
What was your favorite?
Have a wonderful New Year!
See you tomorrow with a New Year's lentil recipe.
