Geez Louise, did you ever see so much cheese?
A huge box arrived at my door yesterday, the size of a television set!
I love when the outside of a box says PERISHABLE!
Inside was enough cheese to feed the neighborhood.
This was my prize for winning the Ile de France cheese recipe contest for my Duck Salad w/ Pears & Goat Cheese Croutons.
I have given most of the cheese away to my neighbors. How much cheese can 2 people eat?

A cheese shop in the Berkshires is offering an all-you-can-eat cheese buffet for $25. Considering the size and cost of epoisse, there is absolutely no chance I could get my money's worth.

You can never have enough cheese on hand! I'm guessing I could go through that haul in a day or two ...

Oh, if only we lived a bit closer . . . I'd be right there for a handout! Then again, I'm sure that a lot of those items will last quite a while properly refrigerated. Don't most cheeses have lengthy expiration dates?

Hmmm, I think I can eat a lot, seriously. I know a lot of people having a hard time to believe me when I say that. But, people who know me, they know how much I can eat, especially cheese. YUM!

Congrats for winning the contest! I just got a wheel for Le Brie from them a couple of weeks ago. I really like their cheese, but wow...that's a lot for two people. Good luck eating it all.
