Room With a View

Here are some views from our windows on the Avenue de L'Observatoire.
I love the bedroom window view where you can peek into other people's beautiful apartments!!!!





We have a view of the Invalides and the Eiffel Tower. The tower is lit up blue at night and on the hour it sparkles and flashes for 10 minutes. Gorgeous!



We are on a chestnut tree lined street that overlooks the Senate at the Luxembourg Gardens.



This is a beautiful place. There are so many specimens of flowering trees and shrubs, pear trees, bee hives, and sculpture. It's all free, and on a nice day, everyone is sunning themselves on the lounge chairs that are all around the gardens. It's a great place to take a bottle of wine and some cheese and just hang out.



The apartment we rented is beyond beautiful. We had no idea that we would have this beautiful view, or this gorgeous apartment. This is one of those times, when the actual thing turns out better than the photo! (unlike match.com!)
